Fun fact ... actually, it's not fun at all ... I have trouble regulating my body temperature. As a child, I would have numerous fainting spells during the summer. I was not allowed to play outside when it was over 90, and half the time I had to sit out P.E.. As an adult, I've come to terms with my condition and I normally stay indoors between noon and 5 p.m. during the months of June, July, and August. Now that I think of it, it's probably why I have such a huge obsession with Fall. It's the time of year when I emerge from my summer hibernation.
Being that I live in Florida, "summer" temperatures tend to stick around all the way up to November. Meaning that I can get my "summer" fill between September and October when it's not in the 90s.
Today I ventured out to the pool as the sun was beginning its descent and I opted for a deliciously gothic suit, black straw hat, and my newest DIY featuring dollar store sunglasses and a couple of gems.
When I flipped my camera I realized I had a bit of a Lydia Deetz vibe going on. So I'm calling this look: A Day at the pool with Lydia Deetz.
